Birahim Seck reacted to the statement made by the president of the parliamentary group Freedom, Democracy and Change. Mamadou Lamine Thiam, who, in a press conference, denounced the silence of civil society in the accusations of corruption leveled against judges of the constitutional council.

In a press conference, the PDS and its allies criticized the actors of society. Basically, Lamine Thiam said: “Why are the actors of civil society, usually vigilant on issues of corruption, good governance and embezzlement? The media and judicial institutions of the country refrained from seeking to verify the content of these recordings and to highlight irrefutable evidence of the temptations of violence in our democratic system.”

In response, Birahim Seck from the Forum Civil did not hesitate. In response, he said in a post on the social network X, “The Forum Civil is not a puppet organization of civil society for the PDS. If you have tangible evidence of corruption, some of you know our headquarters very well. We know how to stand by our positions. “Nun du nu gaggantikoo ci mbedd”.

During their press conference, the PDS called on the nation’s forces to come together to demand truth and justice in this matter. This demand is to allow Karim Wade to participate in the presidential election.
