Professor Daouda Ndiaye, a candidate of the “Actions” movement for the presidential election on March 24, 2024, loses his campaign director. This person, named Me Germaine Sagna, resigned from her position on the grounds that she is not involved in decision-making processes.
“Pr Daouda Ndiaye appointed me as campaign director. When the election was postponed, we did not stop working for his victory. But what I have observed does not reassure me. You cannot be the campaign director of a candidate, and everything that happens to this candidate, you learn about it through social media at the same time as everyone else. Furthermore, everything that happens within the party, the campaign director learns about it through social media. It’s inconceivable,” complained Me Sagna.
She notes that the movement is running like a family business rather than a political movement, which she cannot accept.
It should be noted that Me Germaine Sagna, a clerk at the Kolda District Court, heads the coordination of the ACTIONS movement in Kolda.
