El Malick Ndiaye, the Secretary General for Communication of the former Pastef party, spoke out on Wednesday to respond to criticisms made by some opposition members towards the Pastef deputies following their abstention during the technical committee examination of the amnesty bill. According to El Malick Ndiaye, the “greatest enemies of Pastef are found within the opposition. He accuses them of being “disguised wolves guided by their personal interests”. Here is the full message.

The fair-weather lawyers of the victims! African Patriots of Senegal, let us know that our greatest enemies are found within the opposition. Wolves disguised as lambs who have always conspired with the regime to thwart the PEOPLE’s project.

In truth, these few opponents of the opposition are in no way guided by the principles or other universal values that they are preaching these days.

They are purely and simply guided by hidden personal interests and growing jealousy.

Where were they when PASTEF was fighting against the laws on sponsorship, on postponement? Who set up the parliamentary inquiry committee?

Where were they when the PASTEF youth fought against the cancellation of the Yewwi list?

Where were they when PASTEF was healing its wounds and supporting the families of the victims, caring for and still caring for its wounded, providing legal and financial assistance to political detainees?

Have you seen a single victim, a single wounded person, or a single prisoner among these opponents to the opposing party?

They will suffer because President Ousmane SONKO will soon call an end to the game!

They will suffer because the project will triumph with our candidate Bassirou Diomaye Faye!

Support for the Patriotic Pastef deputies who have always worked for the greater good of the Senegalese people.
