The OFNAC’s mission is the prevention and fight against fraud and corruption, related practices, and connected offenses, with the aim of promoting integrity and honesty in the management of public affairs. The OFNAC is specifically responsible for:
– collecting, analyzing, and providing to the judicial authorities responsible for prosecution, information relating to the detection and repression of acts of corruption, fraud, and related practices committed by any person exercising a public or private function;
– recommending all legislative, regulatory, or administrative reforms aimed at promoting good governance, including in international trade transactions;
– receiving complaints from individuals or entities related to acts of corruption, related practices, or connected offenses;
– providing, upon request from administrative authorities, opinions on prevention measures, which cannot be disclosed.
