Senegal: Moussa Diop released on judicial control in the diamond case

Good news for Me Moussa Diop. The former general manager of Dakar Dem Dikk has just been granted provisional release with judicial supervision, Seneweb learned from his lawyer Me Moussa Sarr.

Me Moussa Diop had been placed in pre-trial detention on Friday, December 15, 2023. The investigating judge of the 2nd chamber of the court of first instance of Dakar, Mamadou Seck, did not waste any time with this matter. As soon as he was seized, he sent the lawyer to prison, following the request of the public prosecutor, Abdou Karim Diop, who had requested the pre-trial detention.
