A meeting is scheduled for this Saturday, on the eve of the Presidential elections in Senegal, between Me Abdoulaye Wade, Ousmane Sonko, and Bassirou Diomaye Faye. This information was given by Mayoro Faye of the Senegalese Democratic Party.
According to him, the National Secretary General and former President of the Republic, “will receive in audience this Saturday, March 23, 2024, the candidate Diomaye Faye in the company of Ousmane Sonko and a delegation”. This was stated without giving further details.
Furthermore, Me Abdoulaye Wade called on Friday, March 22, two days before the presidential election, to vote for the candidate of the Diomaye-President coalition. His son Karim Wade, a rejected candidate, also endorsed this decision made by the Pope of the Sopi.
