Campaigning in the eastern and southern regions of the country, candidate Khalifa Sall began his 8th day of campaigning in the Tambacounda region with a caravan touring the streets of the city, bus stations, and markets.
After this stop, the leader of the Khalifa President Coalition headed towards Kolda passing through Vélingara. He emphasized the importance of supporting these eastern regions through the sectors of agriculture, livestock, and fishing, which he plans to promote as engines of development by fostering cooperation with neighboring countries. “As President of the Republic, I pledge to make the natural regions of eastern Senegal, Casamance, and the river the driving forces of our country’s development. These regions, true granaries of Senegal, must be valued to ensure our food sovereignty,” declared the former mayor of Dakar.
This Sunday, the candidate of the Khalifa President Coalition was in Tambacounda, Vélingara, to finish his caravan in Kolda. Before the stage in the capital of Fouladou, the former mayor made a statement in Mampatim in the Kolda region, where he promised “unity and regional development.”
Khalifa Sall aims to foster cooperation with neighboring countries. For his presence in eastern Senegal, he paid tribute to the defense and security forces who, in his opinion, constantly ensure the protection of our country. Once elected, the presidential candidate indicates that he will ensure to strengthen their capacity and increase their resources to further enhance the security of our territory. “I also pledge to be the guarantor of national unity and cohesion, to promote dialogue and collaboration among all the regions and communities of Senegal. Together, we will build a prosperous and harmonious future,” he promised.
