The man delivers a sincere and very rich speech. But above all, his speech informs us enough about his intellectual and human qualities.
Beyond a mere republican formality, the President of the Republic tackled Senegal’s problems at the source and initiated interesting palliative measures.
Furthermore, tonight, he convinced an entire nation that he had the qualities of a President of the Republic, in the image of the Senegalese people. He was exemplary in every way and ultimately demonstrated his ability to adapt quickly. In 24 hours, he silenced the group of intellectuals who were trying to question his ability to fully embody his functions since his investiture.
Certainly, watching this man, one is further convinced that Presidents of the Republic are not born, they become so.
We are African Senegalese and we identify with the Senegalese genius that SEM Bassirou Diomaye Faye fully embodies.
