The Council of Ministers met on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at the Palace of the Republic, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic, His Excellency, Mr. Macky SALL.
INDIVIDUAL MEASURES
The President of the Republic made the following decisions:
• Mr. Abdoulaye SAMB, Senior Treasury Inspector, is appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Development Planning, in charge of Finance and Budget;
• Mr. Alle Nar Diop, Senior Treasury Inspector, is appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Development Planning, in charge of Economy, Planning and Cooperation;
• Mr. Fary SEYE, Senior Civil Administrator, is appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, Research and Innovation in charge of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation;
• Ms. Khady DIOP MBODJI, Exceptional Class Education Inspector, is appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, in charge of National Education;
• Mr. Diène NDIAYE, Fisheries and Aquaculture Engineer, is appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, in charge of Tourism;
• Mr. Paul DIONNE, Senior Civil Administrator, is appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, in charge of Sports;
• Mr. El Hadj Ndiogou DIOUF, Economist, is appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Women, Family, Equality, and Community Development;
• Mr. Fodé FALL, Civil Administrator, previously Chief of Staff to the Minister of Environment, Sustainable Development, and Ecological Transition, is appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Environment, Sustainable Development, and Ecological Transition, replacing Mr. Amadou Lamine GUISSE, who has been assigned to other duties;
• Mr. Habib Léon NDIAYE, Civil Administrator, previously Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture and Historical Heritage, is appointed Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture, Creative Industries, Historical Heritage, and Leisure;
• Mr. Ousmane THIONGANE, holder of a Master’s degree in Law, Communication, Marketing, and Digital, is appointed President of the Personal Data Commission (CDP), replacing Mrs. Awa NDIAYE;
• Mr. Oumar BA, Expert in Decentralization and Territorial Development, is appointed President of the Board of Directors of the National Company for the Management of the Regional Express Train Heritage (SENTER SA);
• Ms. Mame Marie Ousmane NDIAYE, Interior Architect, is appointed Director of Landscape and Urban Green Spaces at the Ministry of Urban Development, Housing, and Public Hygiene;
• Ms. Madeleine DIOUF SARR, Biologist, environmental engineer, is appointed Director of Climate Change, Ecological Transition, and Green Financing at the Ministry of Environment, Sustainable Development, and Ecological Transition;
• Mr. Baba DRAME, Environmentalist, is appointed Director of Environmental Regulation and Control at the Ministry of Environment, Sustainable Development, and Ecological Transition.
