These actions stem from the remarks made by Farba Ngom, who claimed that the two allies of Sonko had an audience at the Palace with President Macky Sall. The deputy-mayor of Agnam stated that Dame Mbodj and Clédor Sène, despite their political alignment with Ousmane Sonko, secretly supported the idea of a third term for their host.
