After eliminating my candidacy for the presidential election of March 24, 2024, using corruption as evidenced by the audio circulating on social networks, candidate Amadou Ba, with the complicity of the journalist Madiambal Diagne from “Le Quotidien”, is now resorting to falsehood and forgery by brandishing a document that purportedly comes from a PDS Steering Committee and states that our party and several of its federations support Amadou Ba. This is false and misleading information.
Our brave PDS militants and officials know very well that this document is a forgery since the Steering Committee has not recently met. Amadou Ba is desperate. He is engaging in a desperate attempt because he knows he has already lost the election as he is so unpopular and rejected by the vast majority of Senegalese. The PDS and its militants will not be his pretext to justify the election theft and the confiscation of popular will.
All 59 PDS federations have decided to follow the directives of the National Secretary General, Master Abdoulaye Wade, and to mobilize massively to elect candidate Bassirou Diomaye Faye in the first round.
The PDS will file a complaint next week against Amadou Ba, Madiambal Diagne, and X for forgery, use of forgery, and forgery in writing.
Amadou Ba’s dishonest maneuver demonstrates his lack of consideration for the PDS and respect for our National Secretary General, President Abdoulaye Wade. I alert the militants of the APR and BBY who, just a week ago, vigorously opposed the candidacy of Amadou Ba.
