My dear friends,
I visited President Abdoulaye Wade on Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 to thank him for the decision of the Senegalese Democratic Party (PDS) to endorse my candidacy and to seek his prayers and wise advice.
We had a rich and enlightening exchange about the current challenges. President Wade gave me many recommendations and advice, one of which particularly caught my attention: “If God grants you victory, do not be harsh towards anyone, show tolerance towards all and cultivate peace because you are the hope not for one party, but for all of Senegal.”
I reaffirmed to him that my major and priority task will be the restoration of national cohesion.
