It is with dismay mixed with disappointment that the Senegalese people followed Mr. Ousmane Sonko’s press conference on Friday, March 15, 2024.
“Nature always comes back to the surface!». It seems that between Ousmane Sonko and defamation, denigration, lies, and manipulation, there is a love story.
After benefiting from President Macky Sall’s clemency and once again breathing the air of freedom, here he is relapsing by devoting a whole press conference to insipid defamation and slander against President Amadou Ba.
One hoped that being isolated would have allowed him to acquire a minimum of maturity and wisdom, thus moving him away from verbal and physical violence, which are the only agenda of his political movement. Alas!
President Amadou Ba obviously does not have time to dedicate to his childish behavior. He is going to meet with the Senegalese people in cities and villages to talk to them, exchange with them, and present his program of economic and social development whose main objective is shared prosperity.
Indeed, wherever he goes, President Amadou Ba talks to them about his offer of an exemplary state, a protective state, a solidary state, an egalitarian state, and a just state. He is not in the habit of talking about others but of sharing with the populations his vision that offers greater perspectives to the youth, women, workers, entrepreneurs, to participate in this beautiful symphony of national construction initiated since 1960, by consolidating and expanding the legacy left by his predecessors.
Nothing and no one can deter him from his willingness to remain in the service of peace, a true peace, a positive peace that constitutes the cement of freedom, security, shared prosperity, and openness to the world.
And it is pleasing to note that our compatriots have endorsed the candidate Amadou Ba, from Keur Massar to Podor, passing through Dakar, Mbacké, Touba, Tivaouane, Louga, Saint-Louis, Dagana, Richard Toll, Aéré Lao, etc. These Senegalese people are his only interlocutors and the dialogue with them will remain the only credo of his campaign until triumph on the evening of March 24, 2024.
President Amadou Ba urges all other candidates to advocate for a responsible and mature electoral campaign, offering the valiant Senegalese people programmatic debates, allowing them to make the best choice for the governance of our country.
Finally, President Amadou Ba reiterates his deep gratitude and sincere thanks to all the sympathizers, militants, and officials of his party the APR, of the BBY Coalition, and of the Grand Coalition of the Presidential Majority for their mobilization, their militant commitment to accompany him to victory in the first round on the evening of March 24, 2024.
