The Senegalese Electricity Company (SENELEC) announced in a signed statement on Wednesday, March 5, 2024, that there will be disruptions due to maintenance work on the 225kV transmission line (Tamba-Kolda-Ziguinchor).
SENELEC advises its customers that due to maintenance work on the 225kV transmission line (Tamba-Kolda-Ziguinchor), there will be power disruptions in the Ziguinchor region on Wednesday, March 6, and Thursday, March 7, 2024.
The work will start each day at 8 a.m. and the service will be restored on the same day once the work is completed, at the latest by 4 p.m.
SENELEC apologizes to its customers for any inconvenience caused by these maintenance works, which are aimed at improving the quality of the electrical service.
