Macky Sall’s support for his candidate Amadou Ba is more useful behind the scenes than on the field, said Aliou Sall. According to the former mayor of Guédiawaye, the President of the Republic and the candidate of the Benno Bokk Yaakaar Coalition get along well. He is very confident about the upcoming presidential election.
“Amadou Ba does not need to be chaperoned like the other candidate (Diomaye Faye) who needs the presence of his mentor (Ousmane Sonko). Certainly, Macky Sall is our political boss, certainly, he chose Amadou Ba, certainly, he provides him with all the necessary support. Proof of this is when people hesitated, he was the one who asked everyone to do groundwork. It is also possible that in the coming hours he may descend to the field. But I think his support is especially expected elsewhere,” he said at a press conference in Guédiawaye.
The President Sall’s brother did not fail to report on the news of Amadou Ba, who he said is doing wonderfully. “I saw him yesterday (Tuesday) at 9 p.m. and he was in great shape. Certainly, encouraged by the immense crowds. I have never seen such a popular and enthusiastic caravan. And so, it is only natural that all this has a positive impact on our candidate,” he said.
Aliou Sall issues a call to the youth. According to him, “the presidential election is a decisive moment for a country. “I call on the youth, in particular, to set aside their emotions and think about the future of this country,” said the former mayor of Guédiawaye.
