The former mayor of Guédiawaye, Aliou Sall, has extended his warm congratulations to the new President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye. “Dear Compatriots, following my candidate, I would like to congratulate Bassirou Diomaye Faye for his brilliant election as the head of Senegal. May God assist him. I am proud to have been by the side of candidate Amadou Bâ who ran a very successful campaign, despite all the challenges,” he said.
The younger brother of the outgoing President acknowledges that the result achieved by his coalition is simply a miracle considering the difficulties that were faced. “It is time to evaluate our political actions which will always follow the path of dignity and truth. To the people of Guédiawaye, I reaffirm my loyalty and attachment,” he said.
