In the village of Thiombé, in the department of Linguère, a young man died after being stabbed. A peaceful tea-debate evening in Thiombé turned into murder with the death of Mr. Ba, 28 years old. During the vigil, the shepherd Math Ba, 28 years old, was brutally stabbed by his colleague Kalidou Ba (29 years old). The incident occurred on Wednesday night.
After exchanging harsh words, the victim Math Ba punched his counterpart violently. Feeling humiliated in front of his friends, Kalidou Ba took out a knife and stabbed his friend several times. The victim bled out and died on the spot. His body was taken to the morgue at the Magatte Lô hospital in Linguère. The alleged murderer was arrested and placed in custody at the gendarmerie station in Linguère. He will be brought before the court in Louga for murder.
