Security issues traffic guidelines during King Oyo’s burial

The joint security team has issued traffic guidelines during the burial of His Majesty Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukiidi IV, the Omukama of Tooro Kingdom, scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Access to various roads has been restricted, with some closed to the public, Uganda Police Spokesperson ACP Rusoke Kituuma said on Friday, noting that the burial ceremony is expected to attract several dignitaries from Uganda and beyond.
