Paul Ibe, an aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has called on President Donald Trump of the United States, US, to sanction corrupt Nigerian politicians.
Ibe informed Trump that there is frustration that the US is enabling corruption in Nigeria.
He charged the US authorities to work with Nigerians in ensuring that the proceedings of corruption don’t end up in offshore accounts.
Ibe spoke in a podcast interview with The African Settings Exchange Show.
Acknowledging the threat by the US authority to impose visa ban on corruption Nigerians, Ibe said such a measure was not enough, stressing that more needs to be done.
