Computer specialists are currently among the most sought-after professionals in the job market. Indeed, with the rapid growth of the technology sector, the demand for computer skills continues to increase, creating an environment conducive to attractive remuneration for computer experts, making it a highly sought-after field in the job market. Saifeddine Berhouma, founder of the group “Frtn Technologies” and CEO of “DecliTech,” gives us more details on the subject.

Today, new technologies are more valuable than gold, as evidenced by the recent valuation of a technological start-up created in 2019 at $12 billion, which is about a quarter of Tunisia’s GDP. Computer specialists are currently among the most sought-after professionals in the job market. Whether it’s a freelance developer or a project management collaborator, income opportunities in this field are often higher than those for a doctor, for example.

Educating a new generation of leaders in emerging technologies, with programs like “DecliTech,” could have a significant economic impact in Tunisia and around the world.

Saifeddine Berhouma, founder of the group “Frtn Technologies” and CEO of “DecliTech,” which is an innovative educational program for children aged 8 to 16, focusing on emerging technologies like programming, artificial intelligence, and robotics, emphasized that personal development aims to develop digital skills and “soft skills” of children through practical workshops, concrete projects, and a fun platform, preparing them to succeed in a constantly evolving digital world. “First and foremost, our goal is to help reduce youth unemployment by providing them with the necessary skills to access well-paid jobs in high-demand fields such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and computer programming. Secondly, this would stimulate innovation by fostering the creation of new technology companies and encouraging the adoption of cutting-edge technologies in various sectors. This initiative therefore enhances the country’s economic competitiveness by positioning it as a major player in the emerging technologies sector on the global stage and could also have a positive impact on social development by empowering young people and offering them opportunities for personal and professional growth,” Berhouma stated.

Education is the cornerstone of our nation and the lifeblood of our country. This generation of children is destined to shape the future of Tunisia. By investing in education in emerging technologies and the development of “soft skills,” we can provide them with the necessary skills to become competitive players on the global stage. By acquiring technological expertise from a young age, they will be better prepared to meet the challenges of the global digital economy.

This will not only contribute to strengthening Tunisia’s economic growth but also increase its competitiveness on the international stage. Furthermore, by training this new generation of talents, Tunisia can become a hub of innovation and attract more foreign investments in the high-tech sector.
