Ugandan cancer specialists have warned of shifting cancer trends, reflecting a mix of declining infection-related cancers while those linked to modern lifestyles and dietary changes continue to rise.

Dr Deo Ssenkumba, a cancer specialist at Aga Khan University Hospital Nakawa Specialty Centre, highlighted Kaposi Sarcoma (skin cancer) and Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes) as some of the cancers on the decline.
