Marthe Augustine Kirimat, Minister of Gender Promotion, arrived in the city of Bambari on February 26, 2024, for a three-day mission.

She was welcomed upon her arrival by local administrative authorities, including the prefect of the prefecture and some officials from the International Medical Corps (IMC).

In her first hours, the government official met with the displaced populations of the integrated village (PK. Pladama OUAKA and its surroundings. “The purpose of this trip is to ensure living conditions that take into account the priority social needs of the vulnerable. The spirit of cohesion between the parties is strongly developed within this community of displaced persons.”

In the city of Bambari, the Minister of Gender Promotion will officially inaugurate 4 spaces for women and girls, built as part of the implementation of IMC activities through the Bêkou Genre III project funded by the European Union.
