President Faustin Archange Touadera received the Central African Artist, Choreographer and Dancer residing in France, BadGyal Cassie, on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at the City of Heads of State.
Arriving in France at the age of 8, BadGyal Cassie was passionate about dance and the world of fashion from a very young age. France allowed her to meet and interact with the biggest names in the industry. She ended her studies at the age of 16 to pursue training and professionalize in hip-hop.
An initiatory journey that took her to Central Africa, Ghana, Senegal, Guinea, and Ivory Coast allowed her to reconnect with African music and her true identity as a dancer. Her artistic productions are very successful on social media.
Motivated by her passion for dance and choreography, BadGyal Cassie aims to transmit it through the classes she regularly teaches in Paris and raise awareness among young Central African girls about dance, which is not considered a profession.
