RCA: Bertrand Arthur Piri visits the water points of the displaced Fulanis of Pladama-Ouaka

The Minister of Energy Development and Hydropower Resources Bertrand Arthur Piri, visited on March 21, 2024, water points of the integrated village in the commune of Pladama-Ouaka.

The government official visited as part of the celebration of World Water Day 2024. These water points include drilled wells built for the Fulani population of the village. One is equipped with a solar electric pump that supplies the site with drinking water. This integrated village located 8km from Bambari on the Koango axis has more than 5000 Fulani inhabitants.

The minister took the opportunity to distribute kits consisting of buckets, soaps, and kettles.

Bertrand Arthur Piri urges the villagers to be vigilant, to love one another, to promote peace, social cohesion, and harmonious living for sustainable development.
