The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Monday took a swipe at former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, saying leadership requires the capacity to confront challenges rather than running away from them.
Wike made the remarks during his monthly media chat in Abuja while responding to Obi’s claim that he could increase Nigeria’s electricity generation from 5,000 megawatts to 10,000 megawatts if given the opportunity.
Questioning Obi’s approach to governance, the FCT minister said the former Anambra State governor prefers situations where problems have already been solved rather than taking on difficult challenges.
