The former Vice National Chairman (South-West) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Eddy Olafeso, criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for causing pain to Nigerians without implementing effective strategies to address the country’s socio-economic challenges. He highlighted that the policies of the APC had eliminated the middle class, consequently leading to an increase in the poverty rate in Nigeria.
Speaking at a seminar organized by the Ondo State chapter of the PDP for media aides of governorship aspirants in the state, Olafeso expressed confidence in the PDP’s ability to return to power and bring about positive change. The Chairman of the PDP in Ondo State, Tola Alabere, promised residents that if the party emerged victorious in the upcoming governorship election, it would rescue the state from its current challenges. Kennedy Peretei, the state’s Publicity Secretary of the PDP, explained that the purpose of the training session was to unite all aspirants, particularly their media aides and supporters.
