Famous Nigerian musician, Davido, appeared to have confirmed his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke’s imminent defection to the All Progressive Congress, APC.

There are rumors that Adeleke is planning to defect from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the APC ahead of the 2026 gubernatorial election in the state.

DAILY POST reports that the rumors began last month after Davido and governor Adeleke visited President Bola Tinubu for a private meeting at his Lagos residence.
