Djeddah, 19 March (AMAP) The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), H.E. Mr. Hissein Brahim Taha, organized a Ramadan meeting on Monday, March 18, 2024, in Djeddah. On this occasion, an Iftar dinner was offered to Their Excellencies, the Permanent Representatives of the OIC Member States, Consuls and diplomats of non-member States, officials of subsidiary bodies and specialized and affiliated institutions based in Djeddah, Deputy Secretaries-General of the OIC General Secretariat and its staff.

There were also prestigious guests representing various sectors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as a number of media professionals and writers.

The meeting helped strengthen the relationship between the Organization and its immediate environment in Djeddah. Furthermore, it facilitated the exchange of knowledge and cooperation with various institutions.
The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) organizes this reception every Ramadan to strengthen cooperation with Member States, institutions in the host country, intellectuals, media, and civil society in Djeddah.
