The New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has urged Northern youths to disregard recent claims by Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso alleging marginalisation of the North by the Federal Government, calling the remarks false and inflammatory.
In a statement issued by the party’s National Secretary, Dr. Olaposi Ogini on Sunday, the party described Kwankwaso’s allegations as baseless and aimed at causing unrest in an already fragile national climate.
Kwankwaso, who was NNPP’s presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, had recently accused the Tinubu administration of sidelining the North in terms of road infrastructure. However, the NNPP dismissed the accusation as a calculated attempt to incite division.
