A magistrate’s court in Kampala has remanded a registration assistant attached to the National Identification and Registration Authority (NIRA) on allegations of unlawful disclosure and processing of personal data without consent.
Douglas Kaaya, also known as Kasozi, a resident of Buziga in Makindye Division, Kampala, appeared before Makindye grade one magistrate, Asuman Muhumuza and denied the charges.
