.Urges SSDC board to shun political distractions

ABUJA: Minister of the Federal Capital Territory FCT, Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday declared that Nigeria’s democracy is not under threat, dismissing recent claims by factional National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, Tanimu Turaki, as reckless political indulgence intended to stoke national tension.

Wike offered the rebuttal while receiving the Board and Management of the newly established South-South Development Commission SSDC, led by its board chairman, Prince Chinudom Nwuche and Managing Director, Ms Usoro Akpabio, who paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.
