Pryme, a financial service provider aiming to become the top choice for young Africans worldwide, has recently made significant additions to its board. Mrs. Ronke Sokefun has been appointed as the new board chairman, while Funmi Augusto has joined as a board member. The company believes that the expertise and experience of these two individuals will be crucial in shaping the strategic direction needed to achieve its ambitious goals.

Funmi Augusto brings over three decades of experience to the table, with a background in financial analysis, stock market analysis, asset and liability management, country risk analysis, credit analysis/risk management, and investment analysis/appraisal. He began his career at Arthur Andersen, now known as KPMG Professional Services, where he spent over eight years in the audit and business advisory units. In 1992, he co-founded IBFC Limited, which later merged with Agusto & Co. Limited to form Alliance Consulting in 1999. Pryme is thrilled to have someone with such a wealth of knowledge joining their board.

On the other hand, Ronke Sokefun is a seasoned professional with a career spanning more than 30 years in both the private and public sectors. She holds an LLB (Hons.) degree and was called to the Nigerian Bar with honors in 1988. Sokefun has held various leadership positions, including serving as the immediate past board chairman of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) and currently being a board member at Oando PLC, a leading energy solutions provider in Africa. Pryme’s founder & CEO, Edoka Idoko, expressed excitement at having someone of Sokefun’s caliber on the board, emphasizing their confidence in her ability to help guide the company towards a successful future.

In a statement, Pryme emphasized the importance of having such experienced professionals on their board to lead and support their vision. With the goal of becoming the preferred financial service provider for young Africans globally, Pryme is committed to building a strong foundation for future growth and success. The addition of Sokefun and Augusto is seen as a significant step towards achieving this goal.

Overall, Pryme is confident in the leadership and guidance that Sokefun and Augusto will provide as they navigate the complex financial landscape and work towards establishing themselves as a trusted partner for young Africans seeking financial services. The company is optimistic about the future and looks forward to the positive impact that their new board members will have on the organization.
