Falmata Babagana Zulum, the wife of Borno governor, on Wednesday disbursed N30 million cash and food items to 600 Christian widows and orphans as Christmas welfare packages.
The governor’s wife made the presentation of the packages to the beneficiaries on Wednesday in Maiduguri.
Mrs Zulum said that the initiative was an extension of her felicitation to Christian faithful, especially the widows and the orphans, ahead of Christmas and New Year celebrations.
