The African Democratic Congress has said the absence of its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, from Monday’s G100 opposition summit in Abuja did not affect the purpose of the meeting.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, explained that the summit was mainly organised for political parties to discuss possible areas of cooperation ahead of the 2027 elections.
Abdullahi made this known on Tuesday while speaking on Arise Television’s Day Break.
