United Nations Development Programme, UNDP, has commended Zamfara State governor, Dauda Lawal, for his commitment to providing counterpart funding to develop the state.
The UNDP gave the commendation at the launch of the Northwest Prevention Facility Project in Gusau on Wednesday.
A statement by the spokesperson of the governor, Sulaiman Idris, revealed that the project included distribution of irrigation equipment to 300 farmers carefully selected based on their needs.
