Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has warned that the United States may play a more than passive role in Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.
He said the US interest is driven largely by its strategic interest in the country’s stability and influence in Africa.
Mr Dogara stated this during an interview on Channels TV.
