Suspended governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has commended President Bola Tinubu for intervening in the political crisis and declaration of emergency rule in the state.

In March, Mr Tinubu had declared a state of emergency in the state following the escalation of a political crisis between Mr Fubara and his erstwhile political godfather Nyesom Wike.
