The Minister of Works, David Umahi, has revealed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is deeply concerned about the state of the nation and is working tirelessly to address key issues relating to infrastructure and the economy. During his inspection of a project in Aba, Abia state, Umahi urged Nigerians to remain orderly and support President Tinubu as he works towards solving the challenges facing the country.
Umahi highlighted that President Tinubu was having sleepless nights over the inherited bad economy and emphasized the importance of supporting the leader in addressing these issues. He expressed concern about individuals destroying public infrastructure for their selfish interests while President Tinubu is dedicated to resolving Nigeria’s challenges.
Tinubu has made several promises to Nigerians, including expanding the economy by at least six percent annually, removing barriers to investment, creating jobs, and unifying the exchange rate. With more than a third of the country’s population currently unemployed, expectations are high for Tinubu to fulfill his campaign promises and revitalize the economy.
The President also faces the daunting task of addressing issues such as high inflation and inadequate power generation, which have persisted for nearly two decades. Furthermore, Tinubu’s special adviser, Hadiza Bala-Usman, recently disclosed the President’s resolve to replace cabinet members who fail to deliver on their mandates.
It is evident that President Tinubu is committed to improving the economic and infrastructural conditions of Nigeria. As the country’s leader, he requires the support of the nation’s citizens to bring about positive change. With his dedication and willingness to tackle complex challenges, there is hope for a brighter future for Nigeria under his leadership.
