President Bola Tinubu expressed confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerging victorious in the upcoming governorship election in Edo State. This assurance was given during the presentation of the party’s flag to the Edo governorship candidate, Sen. Monday Okpebholo, and his running mate, Dennis Idahosa, at a gathering in Abuja.
Addressing a crowd of party stalwarts, including the National Chairman of the APC, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, Tinubu pledged the party’s unwavering support for the candidates. He emphasized the importance of standing with them and ensuring victory in the election.
Tinubu commended the leadership of the party in Edo for their dedication and efforts towards the success of the candidates. He specifically highlighted the exemplary leadership of Sen. Adams Oshiomhole, the former governor of the state, for his contributions to the party.

He underscored the party’s supremacy while emphasizing that victory was paramount.
