President Bola Tinubu, along with Governors from the South West and Kogi, are set to attend the Yoruba security summit taking place in Ile-Ife, Osun state on Thursday. The Summit is organized by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeoye Enitan Ogunwuso, in response to the pressing need for a unified effort to address the recent security challenges in the Southwest region of Nigeria.

The statement further mentioned, “The Yoruba Security Summit to be held on Thursday, 29th February aims to gather Oodua traditional rulers, along with a range of stakeholders to come up with solutions to the security challenges in the region. Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, will also be present as the special guest of honor.”
