Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has declared a force majeure on the 330kV Kainji–Birnin Kebbi transmission line following the collapse of a transmission tower along the line, which happened at 10:44 pm on Monday, 7th September 2026, when the 330kV line tripped.
