As part of renewed efforts to reduce the burden of cervical cancer in Nigeria, the Sokoto State Government, in collaboration with UNICEF and support from the Canadian Government, has intensified advocacy and stakeholder engagement to improve uptake of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine among adolescent girls in the state.
