Nigeria: Sokoto Assembly seeks urgent shelter for IDPs — Africa Links 24

Sokoto State House of Assembly has called on the state government to urgently establish a temporary shelter for Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, affected by persistent banditry in the Southern part of the state.

The resolution followed a motion of urgent public importance moved by Bashar Jabo (PDP–Tambuwal East) and seconded by Sirajo Shuni (APC–Dange-Shuni) during Thursday’s plenary session in Sokoto.
