The Senate has withdrawn its earlier threat to recommend the removal of the Registrar-General of the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, Ishaq Hussaini Magaji, after accepting his explanations over repeated absences from legislative summons.
The reversal came during a sitting of the Senate Committee on Finance, chaired by Sani Musa, where lawmakers resolved to rescind their February 26, 2026 decision calling on President Bola Tinubu to consider Magaji’s removal from office.
