The ongoing JOF U-13 Football Championship in Lagos has now reached its semi-final stage, with the matches set to take place on Friday, April 12th at the Lekki playground. The first match will feature Latoyam FC from Coker Aguda competing against Zamadek Boys from Lagos Island, followed by Strong Dove from Orile Iganmu facing off against HB Utility from Ilupeju in the second semi-final match.

Latoyam FC secured their spot in the semi-finals by defeating Young Boys from Ojo with a score of 1-0 in the quarter-final match held at Oshodi playground on April 6, 2024. Zamadek Boys also advanced after a penalty shootout victory against Ameson Boys from Ikoyi, following a 1-1 draw in regulation time.

Strong Dove earned their place in the semi-finals by defeating Solution Boys from Apapa with a score of 3-2 at the Lekki playground. HB Utility also progressed by defeating Botife FC from Abule Egba with a score of 1-0.

The third-place and final matches of the JOF U-13 Cup tournament will take place on May 12th at the University of Lagos Sports Centre in Akoka, Lagos. This grassroots football tournament, now in its fifth edition, is being sponsored by JOF Nigeria Limited, a manufacturing company and supply chain service provider based in Lagos State.
