Nigeria: SDP accuses Senate of undermining electoral reforms — Africa Links 24

Social Democratic Party, SDP, has accused the Senate of undermining electoral reforms and opposing real-time electronic transmission of results.

This is contained in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Araba Aiyenigba, on Friday in Abuja.

Mr Aiyenigba noted that citizens demanded credible elections during the nationwide public hearings conducted by the senate in 2025 on the proposed Electoral Act Repeal and Enactment Bill.
