Niger State government has said that the ongoing screening exercise for all political appointees in the state is compulsory and mandatory.
Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Hon. Binta Mamman stated this in a statement issued on behalf of the state government.
She said, the exercise is for proper documentation, while “about 4,000 appointees are genuine and only those who scale through the screening would be paid their salaries.”
