Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, took the time to extend his heartfelt congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 72nd birthday. In a statement released by his Special Adviser (SA), Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised President Tinubu as a courageous, audacious, and passionate leader who is dedicated to the progress, growth, and development of Nigeria.

Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized President Tinubu’s invaluable contributions to national development, noting that since assuming office on May 29, 2023, the president has exhibited unparalleled patriotism, integrity, honesty, and bravery in steering Nigeria in the right direction. He commended President Tinubu for his honest and transparent leadership, highlighting his bold decisions to address challenges hindering the country’s prosperity.

Furthermore, Governor Sanwo-Olu lauded President Tinubu as a visionary and master strategist, whose democratic credentials serve as scholarly materials for the study of political economy. He extended his congratulations on behalf of his family, the government, the people of Lagos State, members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), as well as leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State.

Governor Sanwo-Olu acknowledged President Tinubu’s lifelong dedication to serving Lagos State and Nigeria, emphasizing his role in promoting democracy and good governance. He highlighted President Tinubu’s contributions to the enthronement of democracy, including his involvement as a Senator during the Third Republic and his pro-democracy activism as a member of the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO).
