The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, condemned the recent violent confrontations and attacks at some local government secretariats in Rivers State following the council elections which led to the destruction of government facilities in the state.
The IGP has instructed the state Commissioner of Police to take immediate action to restore law and order in the state.
