Tension has gripped Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State following a massive protest over an alleged plan by the All Progressives Congress, APC, House of Assembly election committee to deny the winner of the Jos North North Constituency primaries, Hon. Adamu Aliyu, his mandate.

The protesters, who stormed major parts of the city, were seen burning APC flags and the party’s symbolic brooms in anger over the development.
